Hello everyone. Winter has come. I took care of buying a winter jacket as usual when outside temperatures are below freezing.
The criteria for choosing a jacket were: the hood, so that it would be long so that it would not blow in the ass, the material should not be a shiny oilcloth, but something normal to wear and not shine like a New Year's garland; so that there is no fur on the hood, which after the first snow will look not like fur but like stalactites in a cave.
I found on Aliexpress an excellent winter jacket from China for our latitudes. When there is a slight frost -5 -10, you can easily put on one shirt and it will not be cold. If it's around -20, then you put on a light sweater and feel comfortable.
The jacket itself is well-made, high-quality locks, high-quality buttons, and neither fluff nor thread can be found anywhere.
Pockets.
The guys from China were a bit shy about their pockets. External - two, for the hands. They are really vertical, not very usual, usually the pockets have a horizontal "entrance". But in a couple of times your hands get used to it.
There are no more pockets outside, where zippers are sewn up this is such a design decision (there are no pockets), the zippers work clearly without any distortions and fabric snacks.
Inside the pockets, too, are not thick. On the left, there is one full-fledged pocket with a zipper, which can fit everything that usually needs to fit in a pocket. No more pockets.
Jacket material.
Inside the lining is like a lining, I can't say anything bad. The external material is of high quality, something resembles a tarpaulin but is soft, does not shine, the fluff does not climb, repels water. Saves from snow and light rain, works 100%. But if you get caught in heavy rain, then of course nothing will help, it gets wet anyway, although not as quickly as ordinary material. And the fact that fluff does not climb during operation proves that there are really many layers of matter inside.
Hood.
The hood is large. It seemed to me that he really is more than needed. Due to its weight, the hood slides over the eyes if it is without a hat. But this inconvenience, so to speak, is solved very simply, you just need to put on a hat and that's it. Personally, I wear baseball caps and my hood falls on the visor as if it was intended. Looks great.
