These are persons, firms, organizations that become a link between you and a supplier from China (in our case, the Alibaba.com store). Intermediaries take part or all of all the hassle of registration, payment and delivery of goods from China to your country.

What is an intermediary for shopping on Alibaba for?

Well, let's start with the fact that although Alibaba is available in English, you will have to communicate with suppliers and manufacturers in English.

Secondly, Alibaba will not be able to send large consignments of goods to Ukraine or Russia by usual international couriers: UPS, DHL, TNT, etc.

Thirdly, if you previously did not have experience in shopping in China, then finding a manufacturer and negotiating with him is already a huge problem, not to mention payment and organization of delivery. Moreover, there are not small sums of money at stake. Sometimes even an experienced person is not able to immediately join the tender system of the Alibaba store.

The intermediary will find out from the manufacturer all your questions: price, production and delivery times, quality, certificates and other information.

Delivery and customs clearance from Alibaba with the help of an intermediary

The mediator will take all the trouble of receiving, packing, loading, customs clearance and delivery of your order from China to your door. As a rule, intermediaries have established lines, proven suppliers, managers with knowledge of English and Chinese, etc. At least all the problems you are interested in you can solve with intermediaries in English.

The only thing for which the intermediary is not responsible is the quality of the goods supplied by the manufacturer.
